HariHara - Part 2

Is it okay to not pray to lord Vishnu? I respect him. I don’t hate him, but I love Shiva too much. Will Shiva be angry at me if I don't pray to Lord Vishnu?

You know my name is Ayush and Betu both. The question is like, If I ask the question to Ayush, will Betu be angry on me, I respect Betu very much but will he become angry on me ? Is this make sense ? No na.

Same ways Shiva and Vishnu both are one and the same.

Remember him (the pic above) is Lord Ayyappa, Hari Hara Sudan (Son of Hari and Hara). Symbol of love between Hari and Hara. ☺

Swami Sivananda maharaj states: "Shiva and Vishnu are one and the same entity. They are essentially one and the same. They are the names given to the different aspects of the all-pervading Supreme Parabrahman or the Absolute. ‘Sivasya hridayam vishnur-vishnoscha hridayam sivah—Vishnu is the heart of Shiva and likewise Shiva is the heart of Vishnu’."

Both seems to be different in Prakriti Maaya. In we Shaivas, we belive that Lord Shiva divided Vishnu from himself for making creation going on and for doing leelas. Same ways Shiva says many times that What he says is what Lord Vishnu said and what Lord Vishnu says is what he said. Both are one and the same. Vishnu Purana, Shiva Purana and Linga Purana both says that Both are same. One who disrespect Shiva and only worships Vishnu and one who disrespects Vishnu and worships only Shiva is burnt in hell. Here in this line it even states if you disrespect one.

But you are respecting Vishnu so Shiva will not be angry on you. Shiva is bholenatha. But pray to Narayana, this will benifit you only. Not praying is an option but never disrespect. If you like to please Lord Shiva and Maa Shakti, you should pray to Vishnu Bhagwaan and Maa Lakshmi and similarly if you want to please Lord Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi, you should pray Lord Shiva and Maa Shakti.

Both of them pray each other and do penances for each other as they are only the supreme being. No one is greater then them. The are the real swaroops of the Para Brahman.
