How powerful is Lord Narsimmha who is a purna-avatar of Lord Shri Hari Vishnu ?
Shri Narsimmha Narayan Bhagwan himself is lord of power !
Actually recently I was doing Ram naam jaap, I was experiencing the same divine power and vibrations inside me when I did Shri Vishnu naam jaap so I was thinking to answer a question like this only which would be asking on the powers or understanding of Hari and hence I got this question and even this question mad me realize that till now I have never glorified Narsimmha swaroop of Shri Hari Vishnu. So now the things what I will say about Lord Narsimmha is same applicable to Lord Vishnu’s every form either it be as Ram, Varaha, Krishna, etc.
Actually Shri Narsimmha Bhagwaan, is something very different from how we have seen him in our serials. There Lord Narsimmha is only a fearful and angry form of Hari and finished ! Really ? If this is only qualities of him then according to scriptures he is under Maaya and Avidya !!!!!! Then he must be not called as God ! Yesss ?????
The answer is big NO !!!!!!
Shri Narsimmha Swamy is considered as a purna-avatar of Lord Vishnu hence he is swayam Brahman i.e. supreme reality. So Narsimmha Swamy is not limited to the leela he performed in the Hiranyakashyapu's vadh. He is limitless. Yess!!!!!
Yesterday when I was singing “Namastey Narsimmhaya”, I sang a line,
itto Narsimmha, parto Narsimmha,
yatto yatto yami tatto Narsimmha,
bahir Narsimmha, Hridaye Narsimmha,
Narsimmha admimm sharanam parppadye !!!!!!
Translation :- Here is Narsimmha, there is Narsimmha. Everywhere I go, there is Narsimmha. Narsimmha is in my heart as well as outside my body too. Oh Lord, I am your refugee.
So what does it basically saying ?
Narsimmha is not finite. Narsimmha is infinite and that's actually his quality that he is quantity-less and quality-less as well as he is in every quality and all qualities in him. Narsimmha is the eternal power and Lord of Maa Lakshmi who awakens consciousness in us.
Now coming to the answer why Lord Narsimmha showed anger while killing Hiranyakashyapu ?
Lord Vishnu saved Mahabhakta Prahlaad by taking Narsimmha Swamy avatar because at that time the quality of anger Shri Vishnu wanted to show to everyone.
What is quality of anger even?
Anger is a very powerful weapon. Yes !!!!! But only if used in a right way and he the supreme Shri Hari showed us that.
If he liked, he would have even killed Hiranyakashyapu the next day only he took the boon from Lord Bramha. But he didn't because he wanted teach this quality to everyone that if you are not acting to the situation suddenly but waiting for the right time, then and then only you are going to get success. If he had killed Hiranyakashyapu at next moment only, all would say him that he is partial with Asuras and have put a question on his supremacy. That’s why knowing the future also he is quiet. He is waiting ! This also shows the thing which is called as Patience and Lord Vishnu is the achievement even of patience and yes also being Karunasagar (ocean of kindness) he always gave chances too Hiranyakashyapu to become a good person just like he gives to each and every person to become the most good consciously but if they are not being, at the end he have to finish or balance that unwanted quality dominating the world.
Hence his powers cannot be counted by anyone.
